This 18th Century Spectacular Georgian Figured Mahogany Antique Chest on Chest circa, 1760 is truly stunning, with wonderful genuine charm, character and provides an adequate amount of storage. It has a moulded cornice with a dental moulding and blind fretwork carved frieze. This sits above above two over six graduating Oak lined drawers with decorative brass swan neck handles and rococo design key escutcheons. This fine antique chest stands on tall shaped bracket feet and it has a pull out brushing slide. It splits into two sections for easy removal and the Mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
